Mad River Complex Wildfire Overview - 25 August 2015 c. 0730 UTC Weather Conditions - The vicinity of the fire was cloud free. Details - The interpreters were able to designate the fire perimeter and isolated fires with no difficulty. Extensive growth in the western-most fire perimeter of the complex was detected on the western, southern and eastern ends of that fire. The western-most and central fires of the complex were very close to merging in the vicinity of 40°20'42" N 123°28'47" W (along W Van Duzen Road). The western-most fire of the complex had not yet crossed east of W Van Duzen Road (at 40°20'42" N 123°28'47" W). Numerous isolated fires were detected within the perimeter. The interpreters have been instructed to err on the side of caution when designating isolated fires or possible isolated fires. Therefore, it is likely that isolated/possible isolated fires of relatively minor significance have been designated.
