Pole Creek, WY - Wildfire Overview - 19 August 2017 c. 0330 UTC Weather Conditions - The vicinity of the fire was cloud free. Details - The interpreters were able to designate the fire perimeter and isolated fires with no difficulty. Small areas of growth with intense fire were noted along the northeastern portion of the perimeter, in the very southeastern part of section 31. There are also about 8 isolated fires outside the main perimeter in this area, with one large enough to be mapped as intense fire. There were some additional very small changes to the perimeter along the northwest and the south. Where the perimeter received from the incident is now pulled in on the southeast part of the incident, around Middle Fork Beaver Creek, there were 5 isolated fires that are now outside the perimeter in that area. Small areas of scattered fire were detected mainly along the along the northern edges of the fire, and one area on the east, which is also in the Middle Fork Beaver Creek drainage, down near the creek on the east facing slope. Numerous isolated fires were detected within the perimeter. A number of isolated fires were detected outside the perimeter tonight, as described previously.
