Major, FL Wildfire Overview - 20 May 2023 c. 0700 UTC Weather Conditions - The vicinity of the fire was cloud free. Heavy clouds were present in the area to the north of the fire. Details - The interpreters were able to designate the fire perimeter and isolated fires with no difficulty. Small areas of creeping growth were noted along the northeastern portion of the perimeter. Moderate-sized areas of creeping growth were noted along the southeastern portion of the perimeter. Moderate-sized areas of intense fire were detected within the northeastern portion of the perimeter. Moderate-sized to large areas of scattered fire were detected within the northeastern and southeastern portions of the perimeter. Isolated fires were generally within fairly close proximity to the main perimeters. Isolated fires were most numerous near the probable burnout operation on the southeastern perimeter.
